AVALANCHE SKILLS TRAINING (AST) COURSES | SINCE 2009
FOR SLEDDERS, SKIERS AND SNOWBOARDERS | Golden, Revelstoke, Big White, Fernie and more.
Avalanche courses built for you. The mountain riders of BC, Alberta and the rest of Canada.
Our AST courses have been engineered by Avalanche Canada and customized by our years of backcountry experience to meet the needs of those who recreate or work in the backcountry.
Those who ride together should also learn and practice their avalanche training together. Taking an avalanche course is the first step in becoming a safer and more aware backcountry skier, boarder or snowmobiler.
The AST 1 course is made up of 2 parts: Online class and a field day in the mountains
All class components of the AST 1 course are online. A ‘learn at your own pace’ style of class.
